Video Review: Wedgetail Slide-on
The Wedgetail is perfectly set up for a couple heading bush who want to take the luxury of home living on board with them. Detailssuch as the swivelling fridge slide and the tracks riveted above the external lockers to stop water collecting on the locker top are very simple but clever innovations.
The power, water and gas reserves are pretty comprehensive for an extended stay and comfort-wise, there’s not much missing. This is a quality unit, no doubt — even the screw heads line up perfectly! As far as build quality goes, this is a really well put-together slide-on, with nothing left to chase.
It seems that much effort has been made to make this a balanced rig. It is generally easy to use, although there are plenty of steps up, which could be an issue if you are not the best on your pins.
Overall, this is very well-designed and built — a very comfortable camper, rather than an exciting one.
