This fully decked out 2018 Utopia (TC18053) with only 35k km touring 'on the clock', has been our home for the past 2 1/2 years.  

A highlight of our Utopia is the dual battery management systems, huge lithium battery banks, ample roof solar, and 240v Inverter to enable the everyday use of kitchen appliances, eg. coffee machine, microwave, jug, toaster etc and also run PCs, recharge power tools or some medical equipment, even the washing machine when off-grid for long periods.

The layout features a centre bathroom design, effectively providing three  discreet areas (bed, bath & living) separated by a sliding door.  The large club lounge affords generous comfortable living space.  The kitchen has three pull-out pantries, ample cupboard space and large benchtop preparation areas on both sides. 

This is a very safe,  strongly engineered van.  It is built on a G&S aluminium chassis with a 6” riser and extended drawbar.  The design is a standard 3500kg capacity unit upgraded with heavy duty running gear (axles, bearings, brakes etc) to gain the 4200kg maximum legal limit.   Due to the aluminium construction the tare weight is (only) an amazing 2960kg – excellent for a van of this length.  This affords a comfortable safety margin for loading as either a 3500kg or 4200kg all up running weight.  To operate at 3500kg you’ll need a appropriately rated tow vehicle – eg Landcruiser or Patrol; to operate up to 4200kg a RAM, F250 or Silverado is recommended.
